Bioproduct Consult respects your privacy and ensures that the personal information you send us remains confidential. In this privacy statement, you can find out what data we collect if you use our services and/or products, the purposes for which we collect this data and how we use it. We also explain your rights, who has access to your data and how long we keep it. Processing purposes and retention period

Bioproduct Consult collects and processes data about you for the purposes described below. In this respect, we use both the data that you provide us with and the data that we collect ourselves (for example relating to your visit to our website). We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes in question or for the period prescribed by law (obligation to retain accounting documents, etc.).

Fulfilling your order
To fulfil your order, we need your surname, first name, institution/company of origin, position within the institution/company, e-mail address, and sometimes also postal address, delivery address and payment details. This will enable us to deliver your order and keep you informed of delivery progress. We are obliged by law to keep your order information for seven years.

Legal grounds for processing

Bioproduct Consult processes personal data on the following legal grounds:
• authorisation (e.g. sending newsletters, certificates concerning products ordered, invoices, collecting sensitive data)
• necessary for the performance of an agreement (fulfilling your order, etc.)
• necessary to comply with a legal obligation
Where personal data is processed on the basis of the legal ground for authorisation, you always have the right to withdraw the authorisation given.

Disclosure to third parties

Bioproduct Consult does not sell your personal data to third parties. We share your data internally with our employees (salaried or self-employed). In addition, we only share your data with third parties for the following purposes:
• to process your order;
• for hosting the website;
• to set up the IT infrastructure.

Our employees and the third parties we use are obligated to respect the confidentiality of your personal data. We guarantee that they have taken the necessary protective measures to ensure this.

We only share your personal data with suppliers located in the European Economic Area. We will only share your data with third parties outside the EEA if they have signed a subcontracting agreement and if they can guarantee its protection on the basis of an appropriate resolution by the European Commission (e.g. EU/US Privacy Shield).

Cookies

Cookies also give us an idea of how you use our website and how we can make our services more user-friendly.

We use a Captcha program to verify that any user is not a bot or a malware.

By registering, you agree that your data will be stored on our servers in order to confirm your identity and allow you to consult the documents made available to you. You also agree not to disseminate the information contained in the documents to which you have access on this site.

Your rights concerning your personal data

You have the right to consult the personal data that we keep about you and you may correct it (or have it corrected) if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You also have the right to have your personal data deleted, restrict its processing and object to the processing of (part of) your personal data by us or by one of our sub-contractors.

You also have the right to request a copy (in a structured, common and machine-readable form) of your personal data and have it sent to another party.

You have the right to object free of charge to any processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
